Business Banking Investment Sweep
Capital Bank can be your cash manager by optimizing use of funds when you maintain excess balances in your operating account. As debits are presented for payment, funds are automatically transferred from an investment account to cover the transactions. Likewise as deposits are made, funds are transferred automatically to an overnight investment account until needed to cover future debits. Typically, commercial clients maintain a collected target balance in their checking account to offset activity charges.
Credit sweep accounts link your operating account directly to a revolving line of credit for maximum use of funds (subject to credit approval). The credit sweep account automatically transfers funds from the line of credit to your operating account as debits are presented for payment. Likewise, we’ll transfer automatically idle funds in your checking account to efficiently pay down your line of credit to minimize interest expense.
