CommunityOne and Capital Bank have merged to create a new regional bank with nearly 200 branches in Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Though CommunityOne is already part of Capital Bank, it will take time for us to merge our operations. We’re committed to making this transition as smooth and simple as possible for you.
No action on your part is required at this time. In the coming months, you will receive more in-depth information about your account(s) and the transition to Capital Bank, which is expected to be completed over the weekend of February 17, 2017. We will update this page regularly, so please check back often.
In the meantime, just continue to use your CommunityOne accounts, cards and checks just as you always have. You can now also use your CommunityOne debit card to withdraw funds at over 150 Capital Bank ATMs without incurring a fee.
Please be sure that CommunityOne has your current mailing and email addresses. We will use the addresses you have on file with CommunityOne to send you important communications about our transition. Contact CommunityOne, toll-free, at 1-800-873-1172 to update your addresses.
Please review your online bill payment information for accuracy; your pre-scheduled online bill payments will automatically convert to Capital Bank’s bill payment service in February.
